So by saying we were lying and weren’t going to keep our word and update this, we actually weren’t lying. But now looking at the things to update wish we did, cuz there's a bunch of shit. So we kept putting it off, and so it kept piling up more... so we'd put it off more... you get the picture. What’s the lesson here? Don’t commit to a blog/news update style site... don’t commit to anything. If your a girl, you know this is a very "guy" comment... we're guys, go figure. Been a few contest going on since last time... Holy Oly, a Ben Sutton produced contest. Snoqualmie Volcom peanut butter and rail jam, OMB's 3 trick pony at Mt.Seymour... the Holy Oly was great, lots of good people, good weather, good quarter pipe, equally very very good times had by all. Wes Makepeace bashed on the strings afterwards and continued to grow his fan base. If the name Trevor Schy sounds familiar its because we mentioned on here that he won his division at the Mt.Baker Banked Slalom on a DWD "team" board, and then proceeded to go down to the Snoqualmie and win his division at the Volcom peanut butter and rail jam. Mike was right behind him, and I was right there judging the shit out of them... I had them both as last place on my score sheet; the other judges must have been giving out free scores I guess. Tall Sarah was there, and in true fashion the surrey kids kept warm by huddling around the exhaust of the generator. Random note: tall Sarah is 21 today (woopy frickin doo). How many of you went to OMB's 3 trick pony contest?... no one that was relying on this website for their contest information thats for damn sure. BUT if you heard about it and went, it was amazing. Even better if you had the balls to do the downhill contest for the DWD board. Jeff's quote was, "ya man u got to watch that shit i thought someone was going to die". So watch the vid that was on Snowboard realms... apparently Hoglin is in there somewhere... and you know he had NO intention of winning since he made sure he dropped in last. But now you have another chance to get in on the shenanigans with OMB's "she loved that pony" the set up will include a Slingshot Rail, Motocross Whoop bump n jump area, the hand shaped halfpipe circa 1993 and the "launch o luck"... it will be fuck'n sweet, guaranteed. aaaand... if you subscribe to Frequency and are lucky enough to be at Baldface right now then you might have been on the other end of a phone call that was received the other night from Laing and Jeff Penciarro... they are having a great time up there and the snow is amazing. also the new Think Thank site is up as well.

teaser week in snowboard land... be on the look out for all your favourite vid company teasers out there... check out THINKTHANK's new one for "Stack Footy" among others. tradeshows have been happening the last couple weeks everywhere. if you dont know, thats where all the companies and shops go to show and view the next seasons products, and pretend to be interested in what the hot new shade of shit brown in going to be. actually... everyone goes there to participate in the gauntlet of, "drink drink drink, 2 hours of sleep, try to stay awake, high 5, high 5, low 5, shit talk, bro bra, bro bra, drink drink drink, repeat." the US one is in Vegas... snowboard hell, its a mess. but who the shit are we kidding.. we had a great time. and plenty of pictures we dont remember taking to prove it. no sense in really trying to peice it all back together. since the show we've been back on the road snowboarding, riding and filming. i was up in alaska for a minute on the coldest trip of all time... i saw a thermometer that read -24 F .... and then got out of the car a few miles down the road to snowboard?! hung out with "soldier face" larson... he's crazy... he plays on train tracks. the "MtBaker Banked Slalom" was last weekend, and Trevor Schy went down the hill faster than __________ (fill in blank with sarcastic reference). he won the younger ams division on a dino "team" board... we didnt know they could go that fast. NEXT WEEKEND... the one, the only, the HOLY OLY... its back, its great, its at the summit at snoqualmie in washington. we're going to be there, wes makepeace will be bashing a guitar afterwards... come join.

just in case you missed the live feed of the Xyz games today Jeff's run basically consisted of a switch backside bitter slide, followed by back to back "over it"s, wrapped by a washed up backside stomped... ol' Keenan keepin it clean. we're warming up for the SIA show in vegas next week (its going to be hard to beat last years booth)... that means bustin a move if need be, hitting up some shows, making bad decisions, and that all the new 0809 product will be leakin out soon... and i'm sure we'll be making up for our sins the following week. while we're away, check out some fine art by Think Thank's Christina Burtner... it would probably all look good on your walls. a web interview with VTdeathrider.com. xmas was great... but... (heres the big one we've been lagging on... plus updated shop list, online shops and some previous wrong phone #'s... and if there isnt a shop near you and you cant find what you want online, try calling Satellite, FL project or Stalefish (look for them in the US shops section. they all said they'd do sales over the phone and ship as well)) the snow has started in most places. keep your fingers crossed it keeps up. Geeves is up in whistler, he's been on a two page spreed streak, with spreads in the latest Snowboard Canada and TW. a couple weeks back he made it down to the city for the think thank/ runway premier. not sure if he actually saw the flicks, but he had a good time. then we did little team trip to Seattle for the "downtown throwdown". Geeves killed it, but only won one ticket to the Korn concert, so plan B was to buddy up with Jed, and get the 10% rule rollin... strange enough, Jed snuck off and we here left to claim our 10% from Johnny... it wasnt the same. that was way back on halloween weekend. we'd like to see anyone beat Birnie's costume... heard about it, but didnt believe it till the pics came in. ??? fuck'n amazing... makes me want to chop his head off. runner up was Jimmy's dog... Jimmy was originally putting his foot down on the whole "dress up dog" thing, but then the dino suit came into play... how can you say NO to that? apparantly you cant. Larson wishes this was just a costume, and that this wasnt his new roomie. got some photos from the guys at make-up distro in Denmark, ... this dino-mache art was just laying on the side of the road, road kill style and instead of tying it up to the bumper and driving around till it was nothing but bloody bones, like CSTL's Damon would do, they thought they'd use it for a few kodak moments. or it was "art" but we all know what art REALLY looks like, and COC camper Ethan sent us some. our friend Mike got a few shots in before he blew his spleen to all shit the last day he was up on the glacier this summer... but was back at it as soon as the leaves were turning with Ontarioite Lucas, (who, by the way, got married on halloween and had a zombie wedding! no shit. cant wait to see those shots) Jack "skeleton" Shekelton from the UK just hit us with an email from breck, saying that the snow is flying and things are looking good. and he's going to be putting some shit that he learned at hood in the summer to use in the pipes out there soon. i was just in NY a few weeks back for the Think Thank premier out there, the place is pretty amazing... hung out with the burtner bro's, Trex and his family, bowie was creepin all night, chilled with this satan jerk, the boss was around apparantly, i didnt see him, but he was think(thankin) about us (that was a bad one)... took the most AMERICAN photo we could, hung out with Jimmy over in NJ after a rough morning of waking up not knowing where we were (thanks Aubrey) and tried to coax this crazy naked fucker from jumping off this building and ending it all. Just talked to jeff and he's on the way to banff... so if your out there by him a drink and a stomach pump, unless you hate him and want to walk all over him, then get this door mat and you can do it everyday. geeves is heading up there for a rail contest on friday i think. and seymour and summit at snoqualmie open soon. hope its snowing near you, and that your be able to ride your new DWD board shortly.

if your around whistler, or feel the itch to go there on saturday, there's a premier for the new Sandbox video. Dinosaurs NEWEST edition ANDREW GEEVES has a grip of sweet ass shit in it that you need to see, its top shelf. if you need a quick fix you can check out this Dino edit from the first sessions at Camp of Champs (yes.. a new web vid... finally. theres also a blog on the frequency site to go along with it...should be up there soon). our homie Lucas sent us some pics from the rail shindig that happened downtown vancouver a few weeks back, there was alot of rail, alot of people, alot of concrete, and not alot of snow... slush? by these pics you can see it was amazing. Happy Birthday to Damon... he's like 45 or something now... but still kickin. Jeff and I joined him for his Bday night out... started out by stuffing everyone into Hoglin's little apartment (he takes picstures, arent they beautiful), then went out for the manliest meal i've ever experienced in my life... top sirloin, flank, sausage, pork, buffalo, ostrich, roastbeef, prawns, fish.... and of course the salad bar with the ladies dancing in full feathered fancyness. then a random drop in at Funkies to find Bagley, Obrien and crew along with long lost Adam Field shooting pool in the corner. this spot is where all the chicks go, so naturally we follow. there's also karaoke there and Obreezy fuckin kills it. got a flick of it, i'll try and get up tomorrow. or the next day, or the next day... lets just say next time.

first off, congradulations to east coast rep, Jimmy Pasch on his recent engagment! The new Think Thank video, "Thanks Brain!" is shipping now. we're told it'll be available online in the next few days, and also at shops. so go demand that shit. the camp of champs whistler sneek peek of "thanks brain!" and naptime films, "work play" (and the teaser for runway films, "la la land") went amazing... yells, yelps and boo's... our favorite. the next day was the final day on hill for COC, and that night everyone was right wrecked for Wes's concert at el furn... or at least jeff and i were. ... and laing was right there too. the show was amazing.. Wes and the boys are going in to the studio shortly to work on some new songs... we'll keep everyone in posted. till then check out his slavespace page. and in more time traveling adventure hear say, Andy Boniface of Mt.Seymour is moving on from his command unfortunatly, we're gonna miss you andy! thanks for EVERYTHING. there was a going away party for him downtown van, and apparantly we were there, and there was pee and tears and puke.... and hamburgers... its who REALLY knows.

Jeff and I are at Camp of Champs smelling like garbage because we ride like that... and its hot. and because of SUPER campers Pat and Tyler's generosity. found a dino T in a box... who will be the highest bidder at the coach sale tonight, all proceeds will go to the "distort reality via poison" slush fund that we keep in the sock drawer. Nicky Evers was the winner of the COC session B dino board give away... congrats Nicky. ..... and this just in, i just checked the weather and it said its supposed to be 38 celcius in whistler on wendesday... snowboarding should be wicked. fuck. (also quote of the day yesterday was "what IS a douche bag anyways?" by one of jeff's campers.)

we're in whistler, where the guy at the intersection on the hand peddle layback tricycle looks at the chick going for a run in her gravity boots like SHE's the one thats crazy. new dino terror Andrew Geeves, stuck around for a few days to ride with us up at camp of champions and practice his tindys. mike and lukas hooked up some shots from the season, they've both been rollin around on dino boards for the season and are up on the glacier this summer too. Aleksander Matecki was the lucky winner of the session A dino board give away at COC. if your at Mt.Hood look for dinos boards under the feet of free agents, lazy bone bogart and sleepy stevens, both down there at HCSC coaching kids to be better than everyone else and put themselves out of work. if your down there and your lucky you might even see Micah Hollinger keepin the new boards wet, and if your NOT down there he can still keep you in the "govey life" loop. RIP - Shane Cross - Just heard about the unfortunate accident involving 2 of skateboardings finest. The death of Shane Cross, a young kid on the rise, and the very influential Ali Boulala, who is currently just comming out of a coma. snowboarding is so strongly influenced by skateboarding it seams necesarry to pay tribute. Our condolences to the family and friends, and best of luck to Ali.

3 days since the last update... we must be on it or something, or on something. got a C.Mac shot the other day. ... mike sent us this shot of a beautiful Funk board, which apparantly has been causing some shit at a few resorts around. that board combined with the attitude of a growing young peronality is an amazing thing, you'd think that the soccer moms would know how to handle it, but then again their kids are still playing soccer, and innocent little johnny shouldnt have to be subject to such a vulger graphic... so we toned it down for next season... is that a mirror? thanks for the inspiration birn man. i'm over ranting for now. got a NEW iron transfer for you guys. this one is a special request. there's some rad iron transfer paper you can get now that lets you put them on dark T's now. they look awsome and seem to hold up pretty good, but if you use those ones be sure to flip the image otherwise it will be backwards... (the ones that are up in the media section are set up for the light colour transfers that print out reverse.) HOLY OLY is tomorrow at snoqualmie (hyak), you should all come. the next update will probably be from japan. heads up, way up.

been up in washington the past week. (which has been living up to its rep lately). filming, did a wirlwind trip to Maple Falls for the night to drop off Steven Breckon, and hang out with Will at the Frequency party. then judged at the Volcom "peanut butter and rail jam". Sarah and Adam from Coastal were there... paid me some money and both of them place... good job guys, thanks for putting another steak dinner in my stomache. Jeff is lost some where in eastern B.C. on some logging roads.

A.P.B. - we went riding last night up at Mt.Hood Ski Bowl, last night... after riding we went to grab a drink... 1 drink later came out and Joey and Mertz's boards were gone. wuuuuuuuuuuuueak. theres a REWARD of some kind if you find them... Joey's is a Dinosaurs Will Die, 153 "FUNK" board, with white Union "Force" bindings, and Mertz's is an M4, 159 "heartbreaker" with some mutt bindings on it.

Yeah, yeah, yeah! 20 days of shit to let you in on. since the last time, Hoglin has hooked us up with some paparazzi shots of some wanker wearing some DWD gear. Jeff and I have both been in Colorado on seperate trips... Jeff had a chance to smash into a wall a few times with the guys at Snowboarder magazine, probably some good photos out of that. I was out there with think thank videoing for the new vid in the works, "thanks brain"... then went to Anchorage with them. Jesse, B.A.D., Scott, Gary, Yoshida and myself, and a Larson, Bina and Mark siting. finished the 07/08 catalog while we were up there. it was definately mayhem... 4 hours of daylight..., ride all day, break for dinner/work on DWD shit, ride till 3 am, work on some more DWD shit, go to bed, repeat. got back in time to finalize some stuff and get off to Las Vegas where Jeff and I spent 5 days slangin new shit and venturing through what might be "snowboard hell".... but SIA brings us new products and and teasers (laing was hyped)... in the middle of a fucking desert... go figure. one of coastals finest, Damon (shown here with birnie), learned first hand... or back hand, that pimps DO care about they're employees, when he decided to trip a hooker in the casino and caught an un-expected pimp slap drive by.... seams our pimp was wearing a ring though, so Damon had to hit a vegas doctor for some stiches, then back to the bar of course. lots of other shit in vegas, but we dont have the time to put it all in here, so all we're going to say is, "thanks to everyone that was there and checked out the new shit and continues to support what we're doing... till next time. cheers."

a big month for all... snow and storm after storm have been hitting the Northwest of the US and lower mainland of canadia, this tree took out hoglins fast and furious... he seriously loved that ride. the first days of filming are a long way under the belt meaning that the video parts and projects are well on the way. jeff's been in whistler for the most part and i've been in seattle and bellingham area, but now i'm holdin down scurvey "what?!" for the holidays. the coastal team had a good run at "big DUBS", 4 years running seem to have come to an end with less than 24 hours of being in town a few fights in the bar and holes in walls ended with a police escort out of town, wild west style. here's some of the winning entries for the DWD board in the sandboxland.com contest... 1st and 2nd. wow. on the movie tip, thinkthank and sandbox are killing it in europe according to the latest issue of pleasure mag, which dubbed sandbox with "best cover of the year" and thinkthank with "best intro of the year". congradufuckinlations... seriously, it is awsome. also, jeff keetley is heading up a camp that is going to be put on at seymour in the near future, check out the poster and the website for Foundation Camps for more information. aaaaaaand also, if your in scotland next week and you want to check out the boards, the legion site is putting on a demo with TSA. aaaaaaaaaaaand finally, finally, congradulations to Jeremy of TSA and his family on their newborn, Iona.

Turkey round 2. US thanksgiving, not a bad idea celebrating both besides the 24 hour coma that follows. a rail contest went down last weekend down at Seahawk stadium in seattle, "the downtown throw down. thanks to Krush and Jesse and everyone else involved for getting it together. our good friend Jed got second and dropped his 10% in the celebration pot... i was there to enjoy. reports from Jeff claim that Seymour has "so much fuckin snow up there!" and it happens to be opening tomorrow. check it out and hit up the dino rail, its orange and green and ugly and the best. ...also a late premier of our friend Ian's video project. ... and cal-surf is added to the shop list, not sure how i missed that one. anyways, thanks for the support EVERYONE!

finally been able to do some riding this past week thanks to the storms that have been rolling in. thank god, cuz we were getting pretty antsy and AJ's bordem drove him to inflict pain on himself... we dont ever blame him for hidding the truth. Jeff has been checking some early stuff around Seymour and I've been up at Snoqualmie Summit and Baker... interesting day at Baker opening day, it was either sketchy or I just suck. still not in possesion of a camera so no pictures. our friend senior Royal though who was able to get this pic off early season... and a threat from Ben. the boards at exitrealworld.com are online now, get em they're going quick.

back on track here finally... all the basics are up for everyone... new site, catalogs, shop links, bla bla bla... now back to the good shit. October WAS a good month though so we made sure it went out in Dinosaurs will die style. we went up to Jeff's place for a Coastal Riders team gathering/halloween party... these are always amazing events. Damon has the run down on the coastal site... not many were left standing, Sperling was fighting the inevitable all night. AJ and Joey, (the new northwest reps) held it down in Portland. at our place about all of 10 stupid fuckin kids showed up (so now i have breakfast, lunch and dinner for a week left over)... most of them were wearing princess costumes and some kid that made up his OWN super hero?!?!? who the hell does that? ANTI-Mask Man was his name... wow, good luck with that big guy... you got nothin on seagal though. also during all the hustle we've been neglecting to let you all know about a few online contest that you can get involved in and WIN dino shit. first, a poetry contest that Codeman from rewindtoend.com is hosting, got a few limited edition T's up for grabs there. quick update from rehab following our October blow out. re uped on the shops part of the page and added an online section to make it a little easier for everyone to get around. ALL the shops have their orders now, with the exception of Cal Surf who will have theirs early next week, so no excuses on their part, or yours. ALL INVENTORY IS SOLD OUT.
